ARTIST STATMENT

Triangle people, a vertical column of blue sky, and a sun-shaped circle on the top left corner. These were the few fragments that marked the modest beginning of my own foray into the visual arts. Art for me is a meditative exercise, where my hands lead the way with my subconscious revealing itself as I go. My subject matter consists of a variety of topics, from contemporary issues and observational works to fantasy worlds and character design. The journey from piecing together a basic sketch, to inking, adding details, and utilizing befitting colors, enables me to develop the plot line in every composition.
